6th revision - 4th May 2006

It was not easy to record the calls or Birds songs with home based equipments.

The intensity of sounds, initiated  by the call reaching from some distances - was too soft. By the time the microphone picks them. It is already an irreversible mixture. The much required bit of sounds got fused with the louder back ground noises.

It near impossible to split the sounds up. Filters would be used. Too much of filtering would even render the filtered sounds useless. Moreover, in an eagerness to rid the unwanted sounds, it is very that I went into too much or over-filtration.

In my experiences, the bird should not be more than 5 meters away.

If the sounds is not obstructed, then distance up to 15 meters are still good in getting fairly pure sounds.
